They aren't cheap but they're worth it - well-designed, supremely comfortable and last for years, as opposed to cheaper 'fashion' boots which are more basic and only last a few months, possibly made from plastic rather than rubber. As in so many things, you get what you pay for.

I recently purchased my wellies due to the big Freeze in Liverpool. They are so comfortable and really good money value compared to the retail stores. They are fashionable and can be kept on all day. The only down fall of the boots is there is an increased risk of slip with the ongoing sole wear. The boots are guaranteed for 12 months.

these are great, only thing i would recommend is going up to the nearest whole size if you normally take a half size. mine are small on me and i need assistance getting them off!

I hate wearing wellies, so was reluctant to buy these. However, after recommendation from a friend I took the plunge and bought a pair. I am glad I did! These are by far the most comfortable wellies I have ever owned. I find they don't make your feet sweat like wellies usually do. I would recommend buying these with the hunter boot socks as they keep your feet really snug and warm. The buckle broke on one of mine after a few months and uttings staff were superb in dealing with the return and sending out a new pair. At the price they are on offer they are great value and definitely worth paying a bit more than a cheaper pair you may find in your average high street shoe store. Well done Hunter for manufacturing great wellies and well done Uttings for proividing these at great value and with excellent service

I bought these for my daughter as she has nicked my green pair. They came very quickly and due to the snow we have had and the fact that my daughter has my boots - I had to wear them to walk to work. I got so many compliments that I am now thinking of keeping them!!!

I am quite upset with my Hunter's wellies as they have split along the seam by my little toe and if walking in the fields with my dogs all the water comes into the wellies and soaks my feet.

I now need to purchase another pair of wellies but I am loathe to purchase Hunters as this has also happened to several of my friends.

Thought these were a good make.

Bought them September 2010. Ankle areas have tiny splits in the rubber and today (just over a year later) the sole has split right across the ball of the foot. Only used for everyday dog walking not mountain climbing!!

I had a pair of navy hunters. they lasted 10 years and I loved them. Bought a new brown pair to replace them and they have split and cracked. It is so disappointing. Can't afford another pair at the mo so still wearing them and get wet feet when walking the dog- shame

I love my Hunter boots as i have two dogs and use them daily for walking. However i have had a pair for eighteen months and they now let water in and have split and cracked, am possibly going to purchase barbour wellies. very disappointed
