I bought these for my daughter as she has nicked my green pair. They came very quickly and due to the snow we have had and the fact that my daughter has my boots - I had to wear them to walk to work. I got so many compliments that I am now thinking of keeping them!!!

I am quite upset with my Hunter's wellies as they have split along the seam by my little toe and if walking in the fields with my dogs all the water comes into the wellies and soaks my feet.
I now need to purchase another pair of wellies but I am loathe to purchase Hunters as this has also happened to several of my friends.

Thought these were a good make.
Bought them September 2010. Ankle areas have tiny splits in the rubber and today (just over a year later) the sole has split right across the ball of the foot. Only used for everyday dog walking not mountain climbing!!

I had a pair of navy hunters. they lasted 10 years and I loved them. Bought a new brown pair to replace them and they have split and cracked. It is so disappointing. Can't afford another pair at the mo so still wearing them and get wet feet when walking the dog- shame

I love my Hunter boots as i have two dogs and use them daily for walking. However i have had a pair for eighteen months and they now let water in and have split and cracked, am possibly going to purchase barbour wellies. very disappointed

My husband bought the gloss tall hunters for my birthday in august, delivery prompt, looked great, However, 6 months later they have holes in the heels. Really disappointed, £59.99 for wellies that last 6 months. I have now to send them back so they can check these.
Watch this space, will let you know how uttings customer service is.

I have been over the moon with the prompt & efficient service I have received from Uttings. Ordering, delivery etc has been second to none...continually updated on when my order would be delivered, right down to the hour! My new Hunter Wellies are fantastic, so delighted with them but need some ultimate testing so I'll reserve judgement on quality of product until later. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

I previously owned a pair of Hunter wellies which I had for at least 10 years. I bought a new pair less than 2 years ago- the heals are now worn out, the underneath is smooth and one has a large crack along the bottom. I only use them each morning to take my dogs for a walk. I am very disappointed and would not buy Hunter wellies again. The quality has definitely deteriorated over the years!

brought a pair of neoprene hunters in february of this year for daily dog walking (although not everyday during the summer) and they have just started to leak- crack at the team by little toe and the soles are beginning to split- 8 months wear for £80%2B!! Ive had hunters for years but it appears the quality has gone way downhill since production moved to china!! currently investigating Le Chameau!!

bought my hunter wellies in sept 2011 I dog walk in them most days for about an hour.
thought they were meant to be for walking in the country.
after 1 year they have split on the side of the foot, leak and in the lining inside is falling apart.
disappointing and find these to be very poor quality.
will not buy another pair but go for something less pricey and much better..VERY DISAPPOINTED

I bought a pair of these hunter Wellington Boots in May 2012 for my wife. She wears them at the weekends mainly when we walk or dogs on a nearby field. After less than six months of light to moderate wear, the heels and soles are worn through and the boots are essentially useless. I emailed their customer service department who have essentially stuck to their guns in describing the wear as being consistent with regular use.

I have always bought Hunter Wellies, and have been satisfied untill the last two pairs - they have split in under a year, the first I put down to buying a colour so went back to traditional Green, and they have cracked above my ankle on one foot, the other has split by the ball of my foot along the seem. I am very disappointed :( I am going to look at other makes and get advice, I hope I can find some that are as comfortable as Hunter.
Review by SANDRA SELSTON
I have to agree with many disappointed Hunter Wellington customers. I have worn Hunter wellies for 20 years. They are so comfortable for all outdoor activies. However the last three pairs I have owned have cracked/perished and a hole developed in one heel and have lasted only 18 months/2 years. I have now decided to move on to leather boots which do not cost that much more.

Add me to the list of unhappy Hunter wellie purchasers. I have worn these for years and been pleased except for my last two pairs. They barely lasted 6 months each and they cracked across the top of the boot and now leak badly. It seems I am not alone either judging from these reviews. Sort it out Hunter!!!! In my opinion, the quality of your boots is now rubbish. I will now be buying Barbour or Le Chameau, won't waste my money on these again.
