This is the first pair of Aigle boots that I've bought. The quality is fabulous, the rubber is soft and pliable and much thicker than my previous British boots (which I loved and had had for almost 20 years). However, there is no warning on the site that they are BIG! I have put on 2 pairs of socks and an insole in mine and my feet are still slipping around inside (which gave me a blister on the sole of my foot), I wish I had gone down a size but it's too late now - I've worn them!

Had to send these back - they are HUGE! Ordered a size 7 and they comfortably fit my husband who is a size 9! Really wouldn't trust sizing at all!

Don't believe everything you read. Having seen the reviews written by others, I ordered a size smaller (38) than I usually take (39) and they are too small...wish I had bought my usual size as I will have to send them back.
Good quality wellingtons though.
