Just bought with intention of using for family backpacking. Erected at home, looks good and seems to be enough space for 2 adults and 2 small children if miss out gear tray. HOWEVER, I have weighed the model sent. All in it is just over 4kg, not the 3.3kg max quoted. Quite a difference. If I miss out all the non essentials (bags, some of the pegs, gear tray) I can get it down to 3.7kg. Would also suggest longer/sturdier pegs may be required on more difficult ground.
