Screen
The Adventurer 2800 features a full colour 2.8” touchscreen with high resolution for an incredibly vibrant and sharp display.
To display maps clearly we’ve included a high resolution screen with 96,000 pixels (400 x 240). This is far more than similar sized units such as the Garmin Dakota* 38,400 (240 x 160) and even more than larger units such as Satmap Active 10* which has only 76,800 (320 x 240). It’s like the difference seen with the latest High Definition televisions compared to older standard televisions.
You’ll notice the difference in screen quality especially when viewing full colour topo maps or if you use Adventurer 2800’s Picture Viewer.
GPS
A 50 channel high sensitivity GPS receiver ensures a fast lock as soon as the unit is switched on and the signal remains strong and clear even in built up and wooded areas.
