The leather covered Leica Ultravid 10x42 BL Binoculars look especially elegant and are reminiscent of the legendary binoculars and cameras which made Leica famous. The leather covering also allows its weight to be under 700 grams (24.7 oz).
Magnesium and titanium are the strengths of the 50 mm, 42 mm, and 32 mm Ultravid lightweights. A housing manufactured completely out of magnesium and the articulated axle made of high-strength titanium guarantee both a long life and an ultra light weight.
Easy to use and fabulous to look at:, the newly designed central focusing device is an outstanding functional achievement. Technical precision is hidden in the most compact space. This new scale facilitates easy reading of the diopter values and the large focus wheel is easy to use. The extremely short focusing path of slightly more than one rotation also allows the optimum point of focus to be found quickly.
